Your coaching team at Ridewise.pro is unique as a collective, in that every single one of the team has trained, served and instructed within one of the emergency services.

The coaches are close personal friends and have been instructing at the highest high level for many years.

Each of the coaches is a passionate motorcycle enthusiast and between them own a wide range of motorcycles.

Colin

Colin

Coach

Colin is an experienced Class 1 advanced motorcycle rider working in the emergency services. He has a background as a Direct Access (DAS) motorcycle instructor and is a former Bike safe observer of many years. 

He has a passion for precision riding, motorcycle safety, and sharing skills with fellow motorcyclists. He is often the team member tasked with giving the morning briefings and also the evening event talks as he enjoys presenting and discussing the finer details of motorcycle riding skills and techniques. 

Current bike: BMW S1000XR.

Mark

Mark

Coach

Mark has over 20 years of riding and instructor experience. He is a recently qualified Emergency Services Instructor (ESI) and so is up to date with the very latest in training techniques. 

Mark loves motorcycle racing and all of the technical aspects of how motorcycles work. He is known for his precision overtaking, and he’s usually found somewhere out on the “offside” in road positions 5 to 6!

Sean

Sean

Coach

Sean’s background and passion is for advanced motorcycle training and rider development. He holds advanced IAM and RoSPA qualifications and has many years of experience with London’s Bike Safe team, in addition to his emergency services credentials. 

Sean enjoys helping riders build confidence, precision and safety on the road.

Current bike: Kawasaki ZH2.

Matt

As well as being an IAM Master and National Observer, Matt is a seasoned Class 1 Emergency Services driver and motorcycle instructor, as well as being a Blood Bike riding standards assessor. 

Qualified in Adult Education and Coaching, Matt is dedicated to road safety and to supporting the biking community. He has worked with the Bike Safe team for many years and really enjoys his days teaching advanced riding skills.

Lisa

Lisa

Coach

Lisa is an Emergency Services Rider and Advanced Driver and is also IAM qualified with a strong focus on road safety and advanced riding skills. Lisa has also built a huge amount of experience as a member of the London Bike Safe team. 

She is passionate about rider development, especially when it comes to encouraging and empowering female motorcyclists. 

Current bike: Suzuki GSX-S1000.

Coach

Mike has been involved in advanced rider and driver training for the emergency services since 1999. During 2013 he became involved with a world renowned Superbike School subsequently qualifying as a coach and delivering training on cornering skills at race circuits all over Europe and as far afield as Dubai and India.

Mikes passion is helping riders achieve their potential by ensuring they improve their knowledge and understanding of motorcycle dynamics, ongoing risk management and most importantly human factors and how they affect rider safety. He is a skilled coach who delivers bespoke training suited to the clients individual learning style. Nothing beats helping someone achieve that light bulb moment, together with the big smile.
